Cooperatize, NYC advertising platform, is helping tourism boards and destination marketers inspire millennials travel with its Travel Marketing Summit

Exit stage left, New York Times Travel Show; enter stage right, Travel Marketing Summit.  While the NYTTS has long been the source for New Yorkers seeking travel tips and ideas, Cooperatize is helping  tourism boards and destination marketers gain techniques and knowledge of how to reach millennials when marketing travel.

“Millennials—more than any other demographic—are viewing travel experiences as more valuable than the ‘traditional purchases’ of the boomer era.  Global travel and tourism spend is forecasted to reach $1.28B in 2015 and nearly 50% of business travel will be driven by millennials according to BCG and the GBTA.  It is essential that travel marketers learn to not only engage this demographic but inspire them through storytelling using images, video and long-form content.  This is crucial for generating an emotional connection,” stated Jeff Fransen, business development manager at Cooperatize.

As a blogger, content creator and influencer on the cooperatize platform, The Skinny NYC is excited about attending the Travel Marketing Summit as it is the first conference of its kind.  Taking place at the Snapple Theater Center in Times Square, Cooperatize is offering a more relaxing experience for marketers than that of NYTTS.  Some of these luxuries include: breakfast, lunch, massages from Knead Massage, manicures from Bella, a happy hour to close out the event from New York distilling Company and most recently added – cappuccino’s and latte’s from Xpresso Delight to keep you warm through the snow storm scheduled to hit the NYC area.  The Travel marketing Summit partners include: Cheap O Air, Germany National Tourist Office, Grill House; along with a host of speakers including: Gina Doost (E Book Editor – Random House Publishing & Founder of What The Doost), Jenna Hovel (Marketing Strategist – Google Travel) and Seth Forman (General Manager – Travel Zoo) – to name a few.

The Travel Marketing Summit begins at 8:30am and ends at 5:30pm and we hope to see you there.
