Hydrofracking is banned in New York State. Although it would be kind of cool to be able to light my tap water on fire like those areas in the west where hydrofracking has occurred for years; its safer to have drinking water for both me and future generations. Gaslands was a documentary that showed the truth to hydrofracking. Natural gas companies tried to promote the ideas of hydrofracking by saying it would create “thousands of jobs for Americans” and its “gas from our country so we dot have to rely on other nations”. Well that all sounds fine but check this out.
