Kony 2012

If anyone told you that one small individual cannot change the world, they are right.  It takes a group of small passionate individuals that all share the same goal.  The Kony 2012 campaign was started by Jason Russell, the co-founder of the non-profit organization Invisible Children.  He was inspired by a Ugandan boy who was forced to watch his brother brutally murdered by the LRA (Lord’s Resistant Army’s) led by Joseph Kony.  Kony is a war lord in Uganda that arrests children; making the boys child soldier and the girls sex slaves.  Kony 2012 is a campaign that raises support to make him famous so he can be arrested.  For more information on this campaign and how YOU can help is in the video below:
