Jelly is a new way to search for answers on the internet using your social networks to get direct answers

The internet has evolved since the 80’s and continues to change at an unbelievable rate. With the internet have come new ways to communicate, shop and even socialize. Now more than ever information is in abundance and at your fingertips; but sometimes words just aren’t enough. How many times have you typed words into a search engine and it didn’t quite answer your question? Co-Founders Biz Stone and Ben Finkel have created an app called “Jelly”. Jelly is like a search engine, you can type questions or descriptions in order to find answers.

Jelly gets its name from Jelly Fish, just as Jelly Fish have a loose network of nerves which operate like a brain “Jelly” is a loose network which acts as a search engine. Using photos and interactive maps you can type a question and “Jelly” searches for an answer through out your social networks and if that’s not enough it uses an extended network when your friends & followers share or forward your question in order to get an answer.

There are info sites such as ask.com and wikihow.com but depending on how masterful you are with words and being able to describe what your looking for you just may not find it. This is such an awesome concept; it’ll be interesting to see where this goes in the next few months to a year. Take a look at the video below Co-Founders Biz Stone and Ben Finkel discuss “Jelly”.
