Past, Present & Future: Ali Vegas

As one of the most recognizable names in hip-hop, Ali Vegas began his career as a teen in an era where lyricism & word skill were preconditions to even touch a microphone.  The talented Jamaica, Queens born MC was often deemed a peer to rap legends: Nas, Jay-Z and Rakim; while boys his age were usually considered fans.  Vegas earned his stripes thanks to his proven skill and lyrical dexterity.  Regardless of the highly publicized trials and tribulations of his music career he has been highlighted in Billboard magazine and MTV News alike, regarded by Shaheem Reed as a “Phenom”.  It comes as no surprise that even in 2012 the wordsmith maintains his integrity as a lyricist with the support of his Peers, Magazines, DJ’s, Hip-Hop Enthusiast, Hype Beast and well received by fresh ears. STAYTUNED!
